Jalandhar, (H S Chawla) :- A news report has gone viral on social media about a snatching incident that occurred near the Petrol Pump at BMC Chowk, Jalandhar.
S. Nirmal Singh PPS, ACP Central Jalandhar, provided information to the media that it occurred early in the morning when 3 individuals on motorcycle tried to snatch a mobile phone from the victim. An FIR 76 dated 16-07-2024 u/s 307/3(5) BNS has been registered at PS Division 4 Jalandhar. Accused are identified and one apprehended while other 2, flee the scene, leaving their motorcycle on the spot.
